Lauren Harper: Scarborough, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom; Hi, My name is Lauren Harper. I have set up this blog to co inside with my journey on the BA (Hons) Professional Practice in Arts course through Middlesex University. I graduated from Bodyworks Company Dance Studios, Cambridge in 2011 with a National Diploma in Professional Dance. Since graduating I have had a diverse career primarily as a Professional Dancer but also some TV, film, and modelling work. Due to picking up an injury and having ticked everything of my bucket list I have decided to have a career change and go into teaching in an educational setting. I am currently working in an SEN school as a general teaching assistant, and teach dance on an evening in a local dance school. I hope to complete my studies gaining a degree qualification allowing me to continue on to a PCGE course. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and like my display name says I hope I can be an inspiration. Lauren X
