What have I learnt from case study 1?

What have I learnt from case study 1 about ethics in practice?

  • There are lots of things to consider within ethics in a professional practice
  • Need to keep an open mind
  • Don't have a pre conceived idea in mind
  • Be aware of the organisational standards
  • Don't let personal ethics override
  • Cant be assuming
  • Don't apply a personal opinion/viewpoint in questions

  1. I think I can apply this way of thinking to my inquiry study also - not closing doors on things that may be essential to explore. Having an open mind is a lot more useful in our line of study.

  2. I completely agree also on having an open mind. I think this reminds me of module 1 when I use to just believe what I were told and never question why? Or how do we know it is the correct thing? Since this course began I have had a much more open mind and I am always trying to dig deeper and ask more questions. Be open minded to things gives us so much more to explore.
